Reports to the Curriculum Committee: Texas State University System Board of Regents
Reports prepared by Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) which list and summarize statistics on student enrollment by department, broken down by professor, courses taught, credit hours, and number of students enrolled. These reports are also known as "The 12th Class Day Report" or the "The 4th Class Day Report." Statistics for summer sessions are taken on the 4th day of classes, with fall and spring statistics taken on the 12th day of classes.
Southwest Texas State University Operating Letters
Materials consist of the first university wide policies called Southwest Texas operating letters (SWTOL) which were superseded by UPPS (University policy and procedure statements). University Archives houses the cancelled and older iterations of policies for historical/preservation purposes, and maintains older working files for current policies. Patrons requesting official policies should contact University Planning and Assessment.
Texas Educational Theatre Association Records
The Texas Educational Theatre Association (TETA) overall goals are to improve the status of educational theatre and establish recognition for these programs within the Texas educational system. This collection contains the administrative records of the TETA, encompassing the organization's history, annual conferences (Theatrefest), correspondence, committees, and newsletters.
Texas Educational Theatre Association Records (accrual)
The Texas Educational Theatre Association overall goals are to improve the status of educational theatre and establish recognition for these programs within the Texas educational system. This collection contains records relating to TETA, encompassing the organization's annual conferences (Theatrefest), the Texas Theatre Adjudicators and Officials (TTAO) committee, annual proceedings, newsletters (Texas theatre notes) and material relating to TETA's treasurer.
Thomas G. Harris administrative records
Thomas G. Harris was the first Principal of the Southwest Texas Normal School, which opened in 1903. The collection mainly consists of correspondence written to Harris concerning school related matters, with a small amount of printed materials.
University Archives Certificate and Diploma Collection
Collection of certificates and diplomas from Texas State University alumni.
University policy and procedure statement records
Official records of the creation and maintenance of university policy files. Materials consist of updated or cancelled University policy and procedure statements (UPPS). The first polices were labeled as SWTOL (Southwest Texas operating letters) and were replaced by UPPS.
Arranged numerically by UPPS number. Reference materials with no policy number are in the beginning of the first box (moving expense policy, timeine for review and update, UPPS XX.XX.XX state publication).
